Manchin touts inflation reduction bill, says 'I'm not getting involved' in upcoming elections

(cnbc)
Senator Joe Manchin, D-W.V., made the morning talk show rounds on Sunday to talk about the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, a revival of President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better economic bill that collapsed earlier this year.

The inflation bill, which Democrats are attempting to pass through reconciliation, aims to reform the tax code, cut health-care costs and fight climate change. It will invest more than $400 billion over a decade by closing tax loopholes, mostly on the largest and richest American corporations. It would also reduce the deficit by $300 billion in the same decade-long timeframe

For his power will be diminished should Democrats retain already held seats, flip Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, possibly Iowa, hold on to Arizona and Georgia.

We still have a lot of work to do.

As a member of the LGBTQ community herself, she should know that her affiliation could be used against her in 2024. A Gay friend of mine in Arizona tells me that she is not on their side. Her refusal to take questions about issues affecting them is a sign that she cannot be bothered. Makes me wonder how she will vote on the Respect For Marriage Act the House passed.

Or is she just gay? I don't consider Log Cabin republicans members of our community either. I go with the miriam webster definition of community.

a unified body of individuals: people with common interests living in a particular area broadly.

She is not in unity. Just my observation.
