Yet every time I check Nate Silver's website, the chances of Obama's re-election rise. On October 12, Obama's re-election chances were as low as they'd been in months, at 61%. Three weeks later, Obama's re-election chances currently stand at 84%. Not to mention the fact that every poll released in the last week or so shows Obama gaining ground (either closing the gap in States he's down or increasing his margin in States he's winning) in EVERY swing State.
Oh, I see a lot of Mitt Rmoney momentum, all right. It's just in the wrong direction. Whenever I hear Republicans talking about all of Mitt's "momentum," all I can think of is a guy who has jumped out of window and keeps yelling, "We're picking up speed! We've got a lot of momentum!!!" And the words "Election Day" are written on the ground.

(4,667 posts)Romney has led in exactly one battleground poll. And that was a Mason Dixon poll out of Florida.
We are now 3 days out from the election.
I think thats all you need to know in terms of what direction this race is heading in.

If he's been written off by the Republican party similar stories will show up.
I think he's widely disliked even by his own supporters.
That story about Ryan's future as not-VP.
The feedback from the Kid Rock concert, too.
Or read FreeRepublic, the general sense of enthusiasm is considerably lower than here.
