Part of "share the road" is obeying traffic control signs, like red lights. He isn't a victim. His injury is his own fault.

The council woman clearly will get punished for not stopping at the accident. On the other hand, I failed to see in the news story where the biker got a ticket for running a red light.

She was going too quickly. He blew through a light. She hit him and kept going.

Luckily for him he was wearing a helmet. But flip-flops? On a bike? He is perhaps not the sharpest bowling ball in the alley.

Her vehicle was parked in no parking zone. It was hit accidentally by a delivery truck trying to negotiate around it. The police are in the process of towing her car and she shows up. Now her plate expired in 2019 but she starts in on the cop with “who she is”. It was a clear case of abuse of power, just glad they still towed it.

The cyclist may also have been wrong but to hit someone like that and flee without checking to see if they are alive is a felony. She should resign and deal with her legal problems. The cyclist had to resort to go fund me when she told her insurance to deny the claim and cause further hardship.
