Plaintiff's lawyers bringing up a video of Jones TODAY, calling parent Neil Heslin "slow" as Heslin was testifying about his dead child and the harassment he faced.

Alex Jones can't stop defaming the victim of his defamation. While Heslin is testifying about the murder of his son, and the harassment Alex played a huge role in through Infowars, Jones says he thinks Heslin is "on the Spectrum," is "slow" & being manipulated by very bad people

This is not only an important trial to determine damages -- it is entertaining. I like watching the film of it every night.

Last week, I sent a friend who "lurks" on DU and sends links to my OPs to a fairly wide group of Native Americans my version of "White Rabbit" changed to "Go Ask Alex." I asked her if she thought it was appropriate for DU, but she thought it was a wee-bit extreme. Funny as hell, she said, but likely not what DUers expect out of a Water Man.

That is, he thinks if he says a thing forcefully enough and often enough, it literally becomes true. There is an entire range of cult-like "self help" disciplines which teach variations on this idea. His lawyer is probably so crappy because Jones wouldn't work with anyone who wouldn't back him up. (This is a fairly popular delusion in right-wing circles; remember Karl Rove?) It sounds like the judge is preparing to bring the hammer down on him for his antics, as well she might. When it all goes sideways on him he probably still won't admit he was wrong, he will just assume the "others" invested a greater effort into their reality creation than he was able to muster.
