Unless Erdogan stops his insane demands (like us extraditing Parliament members) no Sweden in NATO

The 2023 Turkish general election will be held on 18 June 2023. Presidential elections are held to elect the President of Turkey using a two-round system. Erdogan is using us and Finland as leverage for this, so he has little reason to not draw this out for ages.

Kurds in Sweden fear becoming pawns in NATO membership bid (video)

Kurds living in Sweden are concerned over an agreement reached between the Swedish and Finnish governments and Turkey, which has threatened to block the two countries from joining NATO over their alleged harboring of Kurdish militants.

terms of being the most serious blocker of Sweden and Finland joining NATO.

Viktor Orbán (Hungary) could still try and play blocking games (for instance, Hungary was the lone objector blocking the establishment of a Center for Democratic Resilience within NATO) as well, but kicking Hungary (who are also, unlike Turkey, an EU member) out of NATO is certainly not going to make Erdoğan and Turkey fall in line. In fact it might have the exact opposite effect.
