I was going to blame anti vaxers, but it appears an adult male in Rockland County has it and is reported to be paralyzed.

The Ground Zero patient took a polio vaccine with live vaccine and caught the disease. He apparently visited or lives in Rockland County where there is a colony of fundamentalist Orthodox Jewish residents, many of whom don't endorse vaccines. Coming into contact with the original polio patient can spread the disease amongst them.

in the U.S.
