Rhetorical question.

(3,167 posts)They crowed about rising prices and inflation, and conservative pundits were wetting themselves thinking they had an issue to use against Biden. Now that prices are falling, they will acknowledge that its happening but then they move on.
They were CHEERING the higher gas prices back in June. Now, they either downplay the lower prices or they pooh-pooh them saying Oh, its just temporary.

(111,106 posts)Why do gas prices go up so much quicker than they come down?
If they came down as fast as they went up, gas would be a nickel a gallon...

(9,323 posts)Without looking up exact numbers, gas was around $2.50, then it went up to $4.60, now it's around $3.90 around here. It's hard to portray this as a massive success when you look at the whole picture.
