1. I love Giselle. she is amazing. And the kids are so cute.

The story goes that when Fetterman had the stroke. He wanted to finish his campaign stops and then get 'checked out'. Giselle told the driver to take Fetterman to the hospital. Fetterman didn't want to go to the hospital. and the driver said basically if Mrs. Fetterman says go to the hospital then we are going to the hospital. She probably saved his life. I have no idea if the story is true...it is making the rounds. Some swear it is true. I have no first-hand knowledge one way or the other.

I apologize in advance if anyone finds this offensive but it strikes me as the kind of smug superiority that the republicans hate about us….why do we have to point this out when the message is clearly one of positivity across the ideological divide. I don’t come to DU for English lessons, but to read responses to have a pulse on what’s happening in politics today. Just sayin’……

Rescue dogs. Levi is a yellow lab mix who they found starving and chained, weighing 39 lbs., while out on a drive. Artie, a terrier mix, joined the family last Christmas. She is an abuse victim whose front leg was so badly broken as a puppy that it had to be amputated. Levi's Twitter account, @LeviFetterman (run by a Human Assistant, of course, who prefers to remain anonymous but is not Gisele) is the best thing on Twitter. He has thousands of followers and comments on everything from cheese to politics. Levi is, of course, a Democratic dog, being a yellow dog and all.
