(6,915 posts)besides just getting better paying jobs. These alums have clearly learned more about ethics and responsibility than your average high-school-only graduate or GED holder (Not that there aren't many of tem with ethics also, but...)

She doesn't actually have a high school education. Just a GED, that it took her 4 tries to get.

(6,915 posts)For several years, I worked as an adminitrator of the GED testing inrural Colorado. (Not where Boebert lives - she's on the Western slope and I was south central, in the San Luis Valley.) GED holders are very much like high school graduates. What they get out of the experience depends upon what they put into it. For some, the best they can do is parrot back and they remain "poorly educated." Others (many of whom failed to graduate through no fault of their own - poverty and other family issues can really set people back, and that may be even more true in rural areas than in urban areas. People are different, but as a qualification do regard a GED as equivalent to a high school diploma. But what that is worth depends on a slough of things which never appear in a transcript or a CV.

(37,096 posts)To ask any member of the Supreme Court who lied during their confirmation hearing to resign. Or to explain why they wont. Lets start the conversation. Lets talk integrity. Lets talk about Justice. Lets have Mitch McConnell defend his selections in the public arena.

This is the IGMFU conservative majority on the Supreme Court.
How nice for them that they've got this cushy lifetime job.
Well, maybe it's high time we changed that.

(2,910 posts)And all of the other Reich caucus judges.
This is a start, from Rhodes College.
We can't just wring hands and say there's nothing to do. Why do Rethugs always get their way whether they are in power or not? Because they ALWAYS play hardball.
Why do we always self-censor? Let the other side say "no". Then fight them in the court of the public. Use their opposition against them. Don't accept losses and give up. Just look at how the Reich wing is still fighting 2020.
(I stopped saying "conservative" some time ago. Now even "right wing" seems too moderate to describe that side. Now I tend to say "Reich wing". Just look at Orban and the CPACs.)
(Amy's victory party was a super-spreader event. How many people died from her chain of transmission?)

(15,475 posts)Unlike the others, she refused to even say it was precedent. They need to re-watch the hearings again.
