The cap was in a budget reconciliation bill that included health care, climate, energy, and a bunch of other very good items.

Just search Inflation Reduction Act.

The insulin cap was just one item. It was declared out of compliance by the senate parlimentarian, and a vote to include it failed. So there is no cap in the bill thanks to the gop.

But there is a medicare cap of $2k per anum for prescription out of pocket expenses. It just doesn't apply to private insurers (another parl declaration - I hate that woman).
