This is what a lack of accountability begets

1970s: President Ford pardons President Nixon.

1980s/1990s: Nothing happens to (Former) President Reagan over Iran Contra.

2000s: W. commits war crimes, takes up painting in Texas.

2020s: All of TFG’s crimes, and maybe they wouldn’t have happened had the aforementioned played out differently.

And if nothing comes of this, I’m horrified at what they’d try next.

1. Speaking of Reagan.

Republicans have been gaming out their US strategy in Central/So. America under Reagan. Betting there were lots of banana plantation dollars finding their way into the Republican Party. When Reagan was President, they could do their RW democracy killing games, to keep the money flowing in. What they learned in the 70/80/90s are being applied to our Democracy today.

5. Funny thing is, Reagan was totally clueless.

The 1st psuedo-President. Someone who can look Presidential and recite a speech without really understanding what the fuck he was talking about. He was good at that.

6. He never abandoned his acting days

It seems to be he knew how to put on the charm. America bought it and we’ve largely been suffering ever since.

Mike Deaver, Baker (james and Howard), Don Regan and his VP (sorry, background intel redacted) ran the show. It was all about furthering interests with RW money sources in Central and South America and the Middle East
