Is the search warrant tonight the precursor to the indictment that's coming very soon?

The removal of classified documents from the White House is a very serious crime. Trump knew it was serious when he did it. The DOJ has this ace in the hole whenever they decide to indict Trump for his role in the January 6th insurrection and the electoral fraud in several states.

It is possible they did the search warrant today because they are getting very close to indicting Donald Trump. The stealing of classified documents is a lock for a conviction in this situation.

The search warrant today was just the first step in the case against Donald J Trump. Still to come are the charges of electoral fraud, obstructing an official government proceeding, inciting an insurrection, and conspiracy to defraud the United States.

The charges against Trump and his criminal cabal are being turned over stone by stone. In my opinion, the indictment will be coming soon.

Not only will the White House documents/ classified documents be what we hear most about this month, but I sense there will be so much more....this is just the tip of the iceberg. Indictments will start in August...

September will curl our hair....

TFG stole stuff that didn't belong to him. When the government told him to give it back, he sent them a tiny portion. They waited for the rest. When it didn't come they got a warrant and confiscated the people's property.

because TFG had already been given the opportunity to return the stolen documents and chose not to.

The facts of the case do not require intent. Only the mishandling of the documents.

The lying and not giving them all back adds obstruction or similar charges.

The content of the safe will be something big that one of his lackeys said something about, probably in a text to rudy g or Alex Jones.

Gonna be hard to jury nullify this case.

The other stuff, one lying rump humper could hang the jury.

Normal records, the penalty is 3 years and cannot be elected to public office.

I had a friend who worked on top secret stuff in the air force. Hus comment was always "every document that I tell you from is up to ten years and $10,000". So, assuming at least some of that was top secret (because we know mango Mussolini would wanna have himself some of that), it could add up quickly. But...prosecutors rarely go bloodthirsty like that (think child pornography has similar 'per picture/document ' language. So a guy like the Duggar POS could have theoretically faced hundreds of years , but they lumped it together. Would likely do the same with this. (This is where whistle blowers of classified documents have sometimes been hit with the draconian version of the law).

So, could be very serious and a lot of time depending on what the documents are and how he handled or mishandled them.

A ton of stuff but he must have kept some thinking he was above the law or would hear a leak from FBI Trump friendly peeps before they raided him.

I think the head of FBI is already in trouble for doing trumps bidding and not investigating for the Supreme Court. He might be doing this to stay out of trouble or get fired.

I know they were after documents, but I wonder if they stumbled upon any of the gifts that went missing. Some of them were very valuable and they belong to us, not him.
