I am exceptionally skeptical of this being anything other than politically motivated. There are serious questions about the unprecedented FBI raid reportedly seeking classified materials from former President Trump's residence.

As the Lead Republican on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, I am demanding an immediate briefing by FBI Director Wray regarding the national security risk that allegedly rose to the level of ordering a raid on the residence of a former President.

7. So, I think he is implying

that it would take a national security risk to enable a raid on Mar a Lago. So, if Wray doesn't produce a reason that satisfies this guy's feeling of what constitutes national security, then he'll say that it was an unconstitutional search and seizure.

Problem for him is that the search warrant may not be available to him, and he may not have the need to know. Just trying to throw his weight around--because maybe we'll get lucky and Trump won't be able to run for office!
