I'm watching the rerun of "All In"

Guest host and reporter keep referring to T***p as "the President."

That drives me nuts.

I know it's traditional to do so, but he does not deserve it, especially in light of his attempt to overthrow our democracy.

calling former Presidents President. I think we should only call one person at a time President. Same goes for former congressmen and Senators and Governors, etc. When you leave office you become a private citizen and you can be referred to as Mr., Ms., Mrs., last name. I don't know when it became traditional to give people titles for life. Seems like I remember that it wasn't always like this.
