... conduct that raid. 2 or 3 levels in the FBI and then by the Trump appointed FBI director, then the US AG
Merrick Garland, and then by a Fed Judge who had to see proof that a crime or crimes had been committed,
proof that the suspect would not respond to a subpoena, and that the FBI had proof that there was most likely

(21,362 posts)I have been asking for months, is the FBI looking for those classified documents?
I can stop asking that question now.
can't wait to learn what they did find. It may take a while - but we WILL know!

(10,126 posts)The FBI found top secret documents in Trump's unsecured storage room in June - long after they were supposed to be returned.
The FBI did their job to secure top secret classified documents.
If Trump didn't want to get raided, he should have obeyed the laws for handling classified documents.

If Wray remains in his position thru Spring 2023, then i can withdraw my doubts.

However, a lot of the talking heads are saying that this has to be something much more than "just" the documents (imagine that), and that this was likely based on new, and probably urgent intelligence of additional crimes.
Oh yeah, the DOJ is doing nothing. The FBI is doing nothing.
Never has an ex-president had a FEDERAL search warrant issued. This is FUCKING HUGE.
