Up to now, Trump supporters may have been giving DeSantis a look.
They may have been thinking that DeSantis is better at fighting than trump.

Now they will back Trump due to this "FBI abuse".
Unless Trump is in court quickly, this does not help DeSantis.

11. This does not help Trump. All but his most ardent followers will think stealing classified

documents are disgraceful and illegal. And my brother whom I never knew for sure how he voted loves to poke fun at me about politics...told me last night Trump is worse than Nixon and a disgrace. He thought Trump might be selling documents to foreign leaders or spies. My brother is independent. And he said he was offended that I thought he voted for Trump, after all, he knew about Trump's behavior in Connecticut and New York and how much my Dad hated the guy...bankrupted Dad's friends and acquaintances. This is such a disgrace for our country, it made me want to weep at some level.

And this very well may disqualify Trump from ever running for public office again.

13. The scuttlebutt is there's a lot of bad blood between Trump and Desantis because of Susie Wiles.

Susie Wiles is a very well-connected and effective GOP campaign operative here in Florida. Wiles ran Trump's successful 2016 campaign in Florida, then "rescued" DeSantis' failing gubernatorial bid in 2018.

While working for Trump again during his 2020 Florida campaign, Susie and Ron had a serious falling out when she leaked damaging information about Ron's campaign contributors to the media. In response DeSantis had Wiles fired from Trump's campaign operation, deepening the rift between Ron and Susie.

It's believed by many Susie Wiles has a lot of dirt on Ron DeSantis, information she could leak to damage his '24 presidential run. Recently she was hired again by Trump to manage his likely presidential run in 2024, reportedly because she knows where all the bodies are buried, and she can help Trump defeat DeSantis in the primaries. The war between DeSantis and Trump will escalate, it should be fun to watch.
