"I don't really have too much to say except that to have a visit like that, you need a warrant. To have a warrant, you need justification. And that says that no one is above the law, not even a President or former President of the United States."Link to tweet

It's obvious white supremacists are very insecure about what dangles between their legs.

(2,356 posts)And deliberately twist the meaning of the 2nd, to fit their warped view of gun ownership. And since that's how they treat the Bill of Rights, you certainly can't expect them to read any further or read any other amendments correctly.

(38,436 posts)Both thought they were ....."..above the law." from the illegal things that they did.
Donald Trump is now learning that lesson the ..."hard way.".
If he read the history of Presidents breaking the law, he would have known.
But, he was sure....." he could get away with it." which characterizes him completely. (Just like Nixon)

(30,813 posts)He's been 'above the law' his whole life, thanks to a lot of family money and a lot of bullying of others.
He's still trying, thinking he can rally his followers to exert pressure on his behalf. But their numbers have diminished and their power has peaked.

I can't believe we have threads on DU insinuating this was normal activity.
Kick this one.

tRump supposedly returned some things that were specifically asked for a while back and it is suspected held other items back. I guess THIS search is about what was held back.

(4,150 posts)I know there are some who don't, and there are some who want her to retire. . . . I think she is a master at what she does. . . Quite frankly, I don't think we would even have anything close to the Affordable Care Act had it not been for Nancy. . . . She knows how to get things through, and she always knows EXACTLY how many votes she has.
Living in Nancy's district in San Francisco, I always vote for Nancy. It's always funny, as she doesn't even need to campaign. Not all of my friends love her, but they certainly cannot say she doesn't do anything.
