Republicans are saying if this can happen to Trump it can happen to anyone. But that’s backwards. It’s been happening and does happen to ordinary people everyday. Innocent people get killed when these raids go wrong; just look at what happened to Breonna Taylor.

Not only that, but Republicans have promoted the policies that have weakened 4th Amendment protections against illegal search and seizure.

The focus should be that what has been happening to regular Americans everyday has finally happened to someone “with privilege.”
