Former Vice President Mike Pence on Tuesday said the FBIs raid of former President Trumps Mar-a-Lago residence undermined public confidence in the justice system and called for a full accounting from Attorney General Merrick Garland.
I share the deep concern of millions of Americans over the unprecedented search of the personal residence of President Trump, Pence wrote on Twitter. No former President of the United States has ever been subject to a raid of their personal residence in American history.
After years where FBI agents were found to be acting on political motivation during our administration, the appearance of continued partisanship by the Justice Department must be addressed, he continued. Yesterdays action undermines public confidence in our system of justice and Attorney General Garland must give a full accounting to the American people as to why this action was taken and he must do so immediately.

Bolding mine.
So... Pence openly admits they used the DOJ for political purposes but now feels something should be done so it does not appear we are doing the same... OK... Hey Mike, why not ask Dear Leader to release the warrant? It would answer all your questions and put everyone's mind at ease... No? Rather let the process play out? OK... I'm good with that as well.
Some free advice for you Mike... Stop sucking up to the person that tried to have you murdered. Grow a pair and stand up for America instead.

(33,643 posts)He doesn't want to ACTUALLY see the accounting, which I'm 99.9% sure will be IMPECCABLE in terms of its propriety.
What a pathetic, pandering suck-up this guy is.

(3,544 posts)Second, no other president except Nixon has committed the number of crimes he has, so Mikey no wonder you're upset because basically you are his accomplice.

(6,625 posts)... the FBI were "acting on political motivation during our administration," I think he's talking about Peter Strzok's anti-Trump e-mails, not about any actions taken on Trump's behalf. The latter would be the province of Bill Barr as AG, not the FBI.
