Mar-A-Lago was built by Marjorie Merriweather Post. She was a massively wealthy woman who was a successful businessperson with the business founded by her father.

She was an FDR Democrat and actually divorced a husband because he was a conservative who didn't support the president. Her next husband did and was appointed by FDR as ambassador to . . . . . wait for it . . . . . Moscow.

It was her wish to see Mar-A-Lago used as a Winter White House.

I hope her karma is alive and her ghost trolls the current occupant of her famous home.

I've done it too, but it kinda pains me to see the name she gave her beloved home misspelled or mispronounced to mock the current owner.
