He is stronger than ever.
He has changed from his first campaign. He has good people advising him. The skate boarding was fun, yet that is gone now. The blue sweat stained shirts have been replaced with loose fitting white shirts.
I just saw him at a small town hall. He blew me away. He is a wonderful speaker and he let loose on some Abbott supporters that laughed when he mentioned the dead in Uvalde.
If you haven't seen it, watch. If you have, watch again.
Texas needs Beto. We all need Beto.
Beautiful smackdown from a damn fine man.

(70,742 posts)* Yeah, he almost beat Cancun CRUZ, but losing closely becomes a pattern (and ABBUTT won't be close).
* His traveling around to 254 counties, no matter their Red-Blue status, (12 hours in all directions) is exhausting and the Reds will *never* vote for him, why keep "reaching out" to those?
* Judgment: In wingnut territory (aka, "Texas" ) , saying he would confiscate weapons (flipped later) . Taking Joe KENNEDY III to travel around wingnut Texas, yes the III who ran against a perfectly fine Democratic Senator MARKEY (and lost). Good judgment?
*** Yeah, all of us on a national scale of Democrats *dearly* want him to win. Will he listen to anybody telling him *HOW*?

(83,908 posts)I was pissed he left us and ran against Markey. I had to vote for Auchincloss a former R that helped Baker win re-election. Honestly, he hasn't been that bad and he sends me mailings about his fight for women's issues and never asks me for donations.
Voted for Warren and Markey, the only time I hear from them is when they want$$$$. They have been a disappointment to me. I expected better.
Beto is listening and I think he has a good chance.

(70,742 posts)I want Beto, sigh. Hope we get him.
My reps, I wish they would stop trying to be one of the cool kids and just do their job.
Bright side, Maura Healey, AG ,is running for Gov. I have been waiting for this, she is good peeps. We need a Democrat in charge for a change.

(70,742 posts)a repuke in office anywhere. Chunks of our constituents are focused on surviving day to day, not voting.
