Orban has led Hungary into autocracy, using many of the slogans and memes that Trumpistas find so alluring. No immigration. No race-mixing: “Hungarians are not a mixed-race people,” he said recently. One religion — Christianity. The old “blood and soil” trope that led Europe into so much blood and slaughter in the past.

He has spoken at CPAC more than once I believe. They love his strong-man posturing.
