With all due respect, Trump is not going to flee.

He’s not squirming either.

He’s too much of an egotistical narcissist to ever believe he will face consequences. He doesn’t know how to worry like an ordinary person does. He doesn’t care about anyone but himself and in his mind, he will throw everyone else under the bus and save himself somehow. Hopefully, this time, he will get what’s coming, but it will be a surprise to him if and when it happens.

I’m really amazed at the number of posters who really don’t seem to see that. I don’t have any real insight, but Trump has been completely transparent as to who he is. I think we need to believe him in that capacity.

I hope to see the surprise on his face when an FBI agent slaps some handcuffs on him. But it will be a surprise to him.

I’m not getting my hopes up, but will definitely enjoy it if something DOES happen to him.

Only time will tell, and time is of the essence still.

I wouldn't bet on it.
Trump has been eluding or minimizing justice for decades.

He had no grand political aspirations to help his country.
He wants the Oval office to protect himself from prosecution.

He's literally seen several thousand court cases.
He'll have people around him who can read those tea leaves.
He'll run before they can lock him up.

If he flees, he loses everything. Trump org will get the corporate death penalty. His taxes are fully investigated, they determine he’s a tax cheat, and they get a judgment for umpteen years. His properties are seized, and his debts get paid. His finances get exposed. He’ll be wrapped up in extradition fights, paid by his remaining international properties. Nobody will lend him money. All banks call in lines of credit and loans as they come due, no extensions, refinancing, or sweetheart deals. He’d die practically a pauper, possibly a jailed pauper by that point.

Ain’t gonna happen.

Fairy Godmother to save them. They never did.

This time I think Macaroni Mussolini is all out of pixie dust and fixers.

I’m just saying that HE won’t admit to himself that he might be in any kind of jeopardy.

Only time will tell what will actually happen, but I feel like the posters (not saying you are one of them) hoping to enjoy his misery from this search warrant story, don’t understand that he’s not suffering through it. He’s enjoying the attention of it. He has never once considered that he won’t come out the other side smelling like a rose.

He has been saved many times over the years. I don’t know why. Starting with his dear old dad.

You or I would have been breaking rocks long ago.

I agree there’s little thought about the matter in his mind. The little people have always paid the bill.

Trump is a pathological narcissist, yes. No question there. However, he's also a grifter, which means that he's learned that sometimes fleeing in the middle of the night is the absolute right step to take. Given the choice between him facing (a very short) life in prison or being free in Saudi Arabia, he's going to get out of dodge while he can.

Trump has the mindset of a mob boss (and was trained by one of the best).
