you may know that the carried interest thing is her favorite bone to chew. she tosses it out at the end as a- next time- topic.
so here's my thought. does anyone have standing to challenge this in court? i mean, you can challenge tax rules in court right? are there restrictions on that?
could a state that bases their rates on federal figures sue?
could people in similar positions sue to also get it, and force a show down?
i may have had too much coffee this am.

and btw- he ended up sacked after they foolishly turned a member owned org over to goldman sachs. it was good while it lasted, but...

(58,719 posts)at first I thought of her as too conservative, but after watching her for a while I realized she actually aligns with my way of thought as a true fiscal conservative that was for rational budgeting, including those programs that take care of families and the poor. She doesn't have the current RW knee jerk reaction to every tax proposal and seems to have a mother's perspective on social issues.
Besides, she's really easy on the eyes, too.

(58,719 posts)between her morning gig and her evening show. Perhaps a peel? I don't really understand those things, but she looked better when she started her night gig and it was more than makeup changes. It was about a two week break IIRC. I know, I'm not supposed to notice those things, but...
Whatever, she's a handsome lady for sure.

(58,719 posts)I assume finishing more of Build Back Better would be high on the agenda.
We still need some Social Security/Medicare tweaks and election security didn't go very far. More of the Green New Deal would be useful as well.
A lot left to be done, and we know repubs won't do it.
