This search warrant on the Cult Leader's compound sure took attention away from January 6th...

Is that good or bad, if that is the case?

If Trump is charged with crimes in the attack on our Capitol, will his supporters take it more seriously than the "raid" upon his compound?

If they don't fight for an espionage charge, will they fight for a charge of seditious conspiracy?

What will it take for them to stand up and fight for Trump if they do not do it for espionage?

In my opinion, it makes it easier for the DOJ to investigate and convict in the January 6th investigation, with this alleged espionage hanging over the Cult Leader's head?

Just my opinion.

attention will be refocused as soon as the J6 hearings resume...

For months Adam Schiff and Jamie Raskin have expressed their frustration with Garland ...I suspect they are now channelling Emily Litella.."Never mind!"...

There was no way Garland was going to allow Trump and his subservients to set the narrative...he played Trump and it was delicious..

They'll be back at it in September.

Anybody wonder if any of the 20 boxes of stuff contains anything they can use?

I'd have to go dig out the names and dates as I do not recall exactly but... That should be in the next 2-4 weeks if I recall correctly.

6. It seems almost anti-climatic after this search warrant on the Cult Leader's compound.

But, maybe that is a good thing? It might permit them to get to the bottom of the January 6th attack with a bit less opposition?

This is the first sentencing date for the flippers so... There is a chance that DOJ has not completed vetting and verifying the information and evidence they received from the flippers. I would not be overly shocked if they asked for an extension to Nov... That would be anti-climactic. If they do get sentenced though... That means some of the meat of what the flippers are giving up must be put in a public filing... That means the next level of indictments will follow almost immediately. Days at most... And that means we could be seeing people like Meadows, Stone or Giuliani indicted... Maybe several and maybe some others... Who do you think was between tfg and the leaders of the PB/OK's? I do not believe it will be at all anti-climactic.

9. IMO, perfect timing

The J6 committee is in recess for August, so perfect timing for DOJ to dominate the news cycle.

The dust will settle from the DOJ search in time for the committee to resume hearings in September. (I’m not expecting any indictments from this search before September).

Perfect synchronicity would be achieved if Trump is indicted the week after the committee wraps up/issues it’s final report. (Not expecting it, just sayin’)

They have a LOT of investigating to do.

But here's a thought: if the orange fuck was found to have stolen the documents after he lost the election, it indicates he's planning for post-presidency, doesn't it? Places a little more emphasis on his also trying to steal the presidency as well, knowing he lost. Maybe this was his backup plan in case the coup didn't succeed.
