Some got light sentences, some got 30 year sentences.

One was sentenced for two years, but was pardoned after almost 20 years after his sentence.

9. Actually, exile might be the most fitting punishment.

He would be at the mercy of a foreign government that would be kindly disposed to him only insofar as he could do things for him. That list would be very short and getting shorter all the time. His movements would be circumscribed. He would enjoy none of the pomp and power to which he was accustomed as a private citizen in the US, much less as a President and former President.

What's probably worst from his point of view is that he would immediately cease to be a factor in American politics. Only the most deluded of Q-head MAGATS would believe in any future role for TFG. It would be a pathetic, leaderless cult: "Wait until The Donald returns -- he will redeem us!"
