there are folks here i've met irl, but a handful.
everyone was exactly like they seemed. i sometimes wish this place had a single forum. i have no wish to go into the online dating cesspool, but i approve of the concept- get to know someone w/o being distracted by appearances.
it's kinda strange to have dear friends you never met, but here we are.

That's what I get from DU. Sometimes it feels like the whole country has gone mad and you wonder, have I gone mad. Am I the only sane person left? Then I get on DU and find people who agree with me.
