For those too young who might only know HUME at the Faux Propaganda Network, he was at ABC for years, I think as White House correspondent, during the Poppy BUSH years and possibly into the CLINTON years. He made no bones about having a wingnut slant, and more than that, having a special entry into the BUSH inner circle, even participating in BUSH *family* events, like a consigliere.
He made it all official when he migrated to Faux, possibly over not having gotten an anchor slot at ABC (my speculation), and proceeded to do a Django Unchained whipping job on Juan WILLIAMS every Sunday and later on mentoring Teh Meghan KELLY (rumor rumor innuendo).
*** Jon KARL took over the slot at ABC, always with that air of "yeah-right" when relaying anything said by Dems and sugar coating anything said by Repukes. But more blatantly, any time he could *make* an opportunity, he would find a way to mention Poppy BUSH, one Father's Day calling him "the father of the nation." Yeah, *gag*.
But in the past year he had a BOOK out, covering some Drumpf, de rigueur having to mention (because doing so *sells*) some icky Drumpf things, and he had to make the rounds of all the mainstream yak shows (think, The View), so he had to adopt a mildly critical stance towards Drumpf.
He's got a semi-anchor slot as substitute on This Weak, joining co-wingnut Martha RADDATZ with frequent featuring Hawk Richard ENGEL (just this A.M. from Afghanistan again).
