A few years ago, there was a commercial on TV featuring a young man and woman on a

city sidewalk as she explained she was waiting on her "new boyfriend". With a big smile, she added that he was a "French model".

When the man asked how she knew that he was truly a French model, she confidently replied that he had told her that "on the internet, so it has to be true."

At this point, the new boyfriend--- homelier than a mud fence---arrives and he and the woman walk off arm in arm as he smiles slyly at the man and says "Bone Joo-er!"

At the time that ad ran, nearly everyone got the obvious joke.

Now? Not so much.
