(11,563 posts)BTW...did anyone see a friendship coming between Martha and Snoop? It seems more like an SNL skit than real life.

(11,563 posts)They've done cooking shows together - of course - and appeared on other types of shows, none of which come to mind right now. And they seem to genuinely like each other.
All very surprising to me.

(13,507 posts)they did a show just in the last couple years and think it was on vh1 or mtv. Not sure which one. Only watched a couple of them. They did some cooking.

(111,261 posts)until she did the show on prison cell cuisine. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, not to mention remarkably informative on how to make tasty food with minimal equipment and only commissary crap to choose from. Her obvious affection for most of her fellow prisoners came through loud and clear.
Prison did change her and it was for the better. Unfortunately, it seems to have decreased her appeal to the aspirational suburban yuppies, so her show was canceled. I wish PBS would bring her back.

(35,675 posts)I'd like to watch that prison cell cuisine show. Any idea on where to find it? I checked youtube--nothing there on that.

(111,261 posts)I'd gotten home from work and was trying to wind down so I could get some sleep and flipped on the set and there it was. I doubt it will be on YouTube. I also doubt it will ever be repeated on air. I'm afraid you had to be there.

(30,540 posts)he encouraged her to do an Apprentice series offshoot of his show after she got out of prison. After her show aired he trashed her for not getting high ratings.
Didnt remember him ever being on the show. I didnt think she had much use for him actually. Dont think she cared for the way he treated Rosie ODonnell.
