Liz Cheney is preparing for defeat in her House race.

I just heard some reporter on MSNBC say this in his report.

Just a few months ago, she was the rising star in Wyoming politics. She was third in power for the Republicans in the House.

Then, she voted to impeach Trump for trying to overthrow the government. And it's been downhill for her since that time.

Wyoming never believed any of that stuff they say on Fake News. After all, they supported Mr Trump by a large margin and they are not the type of people to change their opinion on a whim.

So they never forgave Liz Cheney for going after their guy in the J6 Committee hearings. She was like the leader.

And now, she is preparing to lose and with no announced plans for the future. Will she run as an independent? Will she seek higher office? Perhaps the Presidency?

She is paying a high price in Wyoming for standing up for principle and the Constitution.

I always thought the people in Wyoming were smarter.

Yeah. Cheney and Kinzinger may be doing the right thing in J6 Committee, but they belong in the Republican party. You don't have to dig very deep to find the cruelty.

Of course, the question is, how long will it take for the Republican Party to reach that point.

Yes, she likely will lose on Tuesday, maybe even lose big. And it may not matter.

Let's review a few facts.
-- Her father is you-know-who.
-- Dick Cheney is 81 and has a bad heart.
-- There's something else Dick Cheney has: A HUGE Rolodex with the names, phone numbers, and bank account info on every single Republican who can write a check for over $1,000 (more or less). And he knows them all by their first names, knows their wives, girl friends, children, grandchildren.
-- He knows they hate Trump and his minions.
-- We know some other things about Dick Cheney, namely, he knows how to play the game and God help whoever gets in his way. Cheney is a street fighter, a gutter brawler.
-- And he hates Trump for what Trump has done to Cheney's Republican Party.

All of which means don't be surprised to find that the Cheney father-daughter duo has been working for months (years ?) to put her in the White House and Donald Trump is just a bump in the road who is about to become roadkill.

I'll bet a month's pay Cheney has a shitlist of Republican officials -- all Trump-humpers -- who will get a knife in the back beginning after the Nov 2022 election.

I'm betting that Dick Cheney and a group of very high rollers, very heavy hitters are poised to remake the GOP into his image -- which is NOT the image of Trump but instead is a revitalized old-timey GOP.

You KNOW when the news broke of the FBI searching Mar-A-Lago Cheney was rolling the floor, laughing his ass off, on the phone with Liz, shouting "We got the MF!!"

She has violated St Ronnie's dictum, his 11th commandment: "Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican.” She has placed country over party and there is no place for that in the GOP, ever. They are faux patriots, because they value their party over the USA. It doesn't matter that she is arch conservative, and daughter of the former VP. Her appeal to the Republican masses is a net negative, as can be seen in her district. She may try to create her own political organization to change things in the conservative world-- we will see, but the road for her forward is a long one.
