It would depend on how motivated Democrats are to vote for Liz in the R primary.

We had a state rep here that it worked for, but it was a smaller district and it's a wealthy, urban district where everyone knows everyone.

Liz is polling 29 points behind.

But no worries, she wins by losing and keeps her honor and integrity. AND if she does put her name in the hat for the Presidential nomination, no way she wins as MAGAt's will no way vote for her thus splitting the eventual vote.

When the Republican party decided to turn themselves into a Trumpist Party, then all bets are off on the standard two party system playbook we've all understood, particularly in Presidential races.

The Trump Cult party torched the playbook and I believe Cheney will campaign to moderate conservatives in both parties.

J6 Committee. She is a rotten Republican to the core. She just hates Trump more than she hates Democrats.

The state with the largest rethug numbers. Still, they've demonstrated party loyalty and may not all vote for tfg's nominee.

Don't know how Wyoming primaries are decided, what percentage of votes are needed for victory or if there's a rule about runoffs. I haven't written Liz off yet, and believe anything is possible.

My father used to say "sometimes it's about choosing the lesser of two evils."
It's always that way with the GOPQ.

Rep.Cheney has done an exemplary job in the J6 Committee hearings. She is as disgusted with Trump as we Democrats.

However, on nearly every other issue facing our country, Rep. Cheney is in opposition to our positions. She's not really our ally in government.

Except for one thing: She clearly wants to follow the Constitutional Order and the Rule of Law. I respect her for that. But the rest of her perspective is anathema to my point of view.

She's done her job. If she loses her position, I don't care. The J6 Committee has plenty of other members who can fill her spot, (assuming Democrats retain control of the House).

unless the dem candidate in the general is a rock star, i'd vote for her of she ran indie.
we only get the choices that are on the ballot, and it's not a bad thing to be practical.

But I live in Texas and this is an wealthy urban district. Old money Eisenhower types, so even within the GOP, the incumbent had decent primary support

He won his last primary, which was 3 way at 60%
Unfortunately, he retired and more conservative took his place.

We also are losing the only other moderate R in the Texas house this election.

I applaud, and thank, her for taking a stand against TFG on January 6, and also voting for same sex marriage and contraception.

However, there’s not much I really agree with her on when it comes to policy. I suppose better her than a MAGAt, but a perfect world is Wyoming has the unlikely awakening and votes D.
