When DeSantis says teacher requirements are too rigid, what he’s actually saying is it needs to be easier to install unqualified teachers who can indoctrinate children using conservative ideology and revisionist history.

The Hill
@thehill
.@GovDeSantis on recruiting veterans to the teaching field: "Our veterans have a wealth of knowledge and experience they can bring to bear in the classroom. [...] For too long, the requirements to be a teacher have been too rigid." https://trib.al/1bPu78k

They scream “groomers” at the top of their lungs as they want curriculums to deny the existence of the LGBTQ community and this country’s history of slavery. Not to mention turn schools into shooting ranges.

Just as well, as mine may have been hidden as well.

It’s bad enough that MAGAts are doing everything possible to destroy our education system without coming here to find contemptible statements about teachers.

can’t compete with other countries. Math and science scores are going to crater. But he will cheat on reporting them like he usually does with any accountability ratings.
Florida is one totally screwed up state in the hands of the chief law enforcer, chief educator, chief elector and pope of all morals for all Floridians. I am surprised he hasn’t changed the state name to Desantis. I hope we keep this strange and warped man away from federal power.

I wonder if DeSantis believes his own shit or is he just trying to see how much he can get away
with? Hey I was a marine and I believe in Jesus now let me teach something and i promise not
to talk about slavery, the civil war, Jim Crow laws, climate change, science, or what happened to
all those Indians when "we" took over.

The fracturing of America along some kind of made up bullshit so as to allow a right wing Christo Fascist
take over is not a matter of speculation anymore.
