We have specific guidelines on collection when it comes to U.S. citizens. It takes a court order from FISA to do so. Dollars to donuts one of those exist for targeting a specific individual trying to peddle classified information to foreign nationals.

1. Yeah

If a FISA warrant existed on him, it would be VERY close hold. Like, only a few people in all of NSA and FBI would know about it. But, it would not surprise me in the least if there was one.

The day after the election in 2016 was very surprising. Usually, NSA personnel are pretty quiet about their politics. You do the job of protecting the country, no matter who "Customer #1" is. On the way into work, I overheard two young military members discussing what the rules were for disobeying an order from the Commander in Chief. Additionally, a female Senior Executive was wearing black, and was openly talking about going to the women's march the day after the inauguration. (I couldn't go, because I had a foot injury at the time, so I asked her to carry my name on her so I would be there in spirit.)

Of course, the DIRNSA at the time, Adm. Rogers, walked a thin line between doing his job and his loathing of TFG. But this was the first time that I'd heard seniors saying anything against the President.

4. The scary thing is

we don't know if Trump had been selling out our country the 4 years he was president. He could have been selling classified information his entire 4 years and when he lost the election he wanted the gravy train to continue so he stole at least 27 boxes of classified documents.

If our intelligence, our government has proof that Trump has been peddling classified information to foreign governments, WTF are they waiting for? I apologize, maybe we just found out, we need our ducks in a row. Disclaimer; I just took a patience exam and the results came back negative.

2. The MSM is owned and managed by domestic oligarchs.

They set the agenda. When Nicolle and Chris come back from vacation it will get talked about, the rest of the cable news anchors are lightweights reading teleprompters. Oh yeah, Mehdi Hasan is not a pump handle but that's why he doesn't get prime time.

I mentioned SIGINT in a thread a couple of days ago about how it will threaten our 5 Eyes program and I got some blowback here.

Trump has already done so much damage to our country, damage to the trust our allies will have in us. He is still pushing the insurrection, backed by Congressional Magats, backed by Fox News and others. Trump needs to be indicted before the election.

The FBI will never recover all of the stolen documents because they are either destroyed or copied and sold and then destroyed, or hidden somewhere else.

Trump is still the president to millions of Americans. He displays the Presidential seal and gets away with it.

If a Democratic president had stolen SIGINT documents, all of Congress and all of the MSM would be calling for a firing squad. This is what Democrats are up against.
