(47,498 posts)Frankly, I have stopped reading their posts- not that it matters to them.
This is really obvious during the Valentines hearts campaign when too many gather hearts but, obviously, cannot reciprocate.

(269,093 posts)I understand why many regulars might not have had extra money during the upheaval caused by Covid.
question everything
(47,498 posts)I do not pretend nor desire to know the financial situation of others, but not be able to afford $5.00?
With so many posting twits - you have to pay for smartphone - and cable programs and simply log in.. Are all the starless using their public libraries to log in?
Oh well..

(4,170 posts)They are very frequent posters, though I don't know about "admired". They probably think they are.
If they were "admired" then I would think someone would have given them a star by now.

(25,816 posts)the ads appeared and I needed to get a new password. The ads make the DU experience much less
satisfying and you can't post, etc. I wish I could donate more, but I'll always keep my star.
Actually, Jeannie bought my new computer--she had to use mine one day and was appalled by the
performance. I'm paying her back, slowly.
