"Scathing" distraction - House GOP to release report on Afghanistan withdrawal

I’ve had Fox on as I’m doing stuff around the house. It’s AFGHANISTAN WITHDRAWAL day!

Apparently the House GOP is going to release a “scathing” report on the withdrawal.
This will fill a lot of RW media time and serve as a distraction. I’m sure CNN and others will report on it.
No hearings. Just a report.
I think this also serves to counter the January 6th committee and plenty of “why isn’t anyone covering this?!?!” whining.

WaPo article on this.

Somehow I suspect that little factoid will escape Fox's usual brand of thorough and detailed reporting.

...it will say nothing about trump's timeline and his bargaining with the Taliban which amplified the urgency of the withdrawal.
