Because the prosecutors know the mob would only use the information to kill, intimidate, or discredit the witnesses who are testifying against them.

It's sad to think we've gotten to the same point with the Republican Party, and right wing media. Fux Noise has already doxed and slimed the magistrate who signed the warrant. Up to, and including using fake photos. Brainfart.com has already doxed and trashed the two FBI agents who lead the investigation. And Trump's violent mob has already tried to shoot their way into the FBI office in Cincinnati. Does anybody actually believe the people named in the affidavit would get less thuggish treatment? And that's EXACTLY why they WANT it.

It's sad to think that the United States Department of Justice will have to start operating like the Justice Department in Columbia, when they put drug cartels on trial, when they deal with crooked Republican politicians. Conducting the searches with police officers wearing balaclavas, witnesses testifying from behind curtains, and Judges living in undisclosed locations.

But this is what the REPUBLICAN PARTY has brought us to. Congratulations.
