I'm happy - nay, overjoyed to tell you Trump-humpers that your boy is going down.
His bloviations aren't going to save him, Don Jr.'s coke-infused rants aren't going to save him, his unpaid and totally incompetent lawyers aren't going to save him, his pardoned-but-corrupt friends aren't going to save him, his lunatic cohorts in congress aren't going to save him, his in-office co-conspirators aren't going to save him, his foreign allies aren't going to save him, and his willing-to-die cultists aren't going to save him.
And above all else, you illiterate, low-IQ, Confederate-flag festooned, gun-toting idiots threatening violence are never going to save him from the fate that awaits him.
Now is that time in the show when those that can save themselves will do so - and if that means throwing Your Boy under that proverbial bus, they'll do it in a heartbeat.
The sooner you recognize that reality, the sooner you'll realize that you're already on the losing side of a "civil war" that is actually never going to happen.

(12,390 posts)He brought hope to the downtrodden and coffee to firemen at the W.T.C. He was everywhere we needed him to be, when we needed him.... Yankee Stadium..... Jay Leno........... The Statchoo of Liberty........ every TV channel, bringing us hope..... He was there for all of us.
Not since Fiorello LaGuardia read the Sunday comics to kids on the radio, has an American Mayor brought such hope to our citizens during its darkest hours.
It's a sad time for all of us. As sad as when I got the issue of Superman that Superman died in. As sad as..... Sorry, I just can't continue. My wife is cooking something in the kitchen and it's making my eyes water....
Maybe later.

(2,816 posts)Mayor Ghouliani was mostly bad, most especially celibtating police on black violence in a SNL skit on the "Joe Pesci Show" segment Dec 97. He did run a pro tenant administration. But the police under him and Bloomberg were horrible.

Sad to say. "America's Mayor" sold his soul to the donald. I have no sympathy for him.

(6,806 posts)That's when Trump and the Russian Mafia corrupted him. He's the reason Trump got away with so much.

I think most of those buds are retired. The ones that aren't, won't carry his water any more.

(9,952 posts)offensive not to mention in no way does that make sense which means the whole purpose of this post was to call a du'er a Trump lover. Or something. Just saying.

(51,308 posts)I remember being called names in 2016 because I posted that we shouldn't be so confident Hilalry would win. I was terrified of what might happen, and I wasn't the only one.
We were all called names for that, but guess what? Sadly, we were right.

(1,879 posts)Good to know.
Dont let some know-nothing dreamers try to convince you otherwise.
What Im seeing here is a lot of speculation without solid documented evidence. The longer this gets dragged out, the more questionable it becomes, the more it looks like an October surprise in August. Im watching closely because the last time I saw the Democratic Party this disorganized was 1994.

(3,341 posts)I think he's turned a corner in the US, every day more people looking at him as a caricature of who they thought he was.
Peak idiocy had been reached, and (thankfully) rejected by the electorate.

(9,670 posts)In spite of the media's efforts to stick a microphone in every magat's face to gauge their indignation, the overwhelming court of public opinion remains in Merrick Garland's corner.
The published transgressions, put into evidence by skilled prosecutors, are already sufficient to put him away for the balance of his miserable years.
Imagine the trove of evidence that we've yet to experience!

(70,513 posts)1) Steve Bannon is going to have to serve time in prison. And all his bluster and threats will
not change that.
b) Lindsey Graham is going to have to go in front of a Grand Jury in Georgia because he called
Georgia's Sec. of State and asked him to throw out the votes from black voters in Fulton County.
iii) Rudy Giuliani and his lawyer have been told by Fulton County D.A. Fani Willis that he is the
target of a criminal investigation over his support of trying to introduce phony electors into the
2020 Presidential elections.
4) The United States Government has gone after 3 people other Americans for espionage and
that is what Trump is going to be charged with and 2 were executed (the Rosenbergs) and the
other is doing 15 life terms in the US Super Max Prison in Colorado for selling secrets to the
Soviet Union (FBI Agent Robert Hanssen).
******
BTW the man in S.W. OH who got shot in a corn field after trying to attack a FBI office in
Cincinnati reflects the view of a lot of people from S.W. OH and KY. "These people" on the
whole will not save themselves.

You don't think he's going down quietly, do you? I don't. He'll have a lot to say about how the Chump Organization has been run for the last 50 years.
