My post from yesterday turned out to be correct.

Every national security agency in our country in now involved in the stolen documents investigation. Everyone, everything, connected to the stolen documents has to be traced in order to access the damage to our national security.

This is really fucking bad.

was denied access to the most private and secretive meeting between shithole and the Russians in the WH's Oval Office. Payment of 2 billion dollars to shithole's son-in-law from the Saudis, and how shithole was so comfortable meeting with North Korean's f'd up leader. How shithole was so enamored with Putin, also speaking to him via by telephone many times.

How shithole treated his own country and it's civilians especially thru COVID. How in general he mistreated the USA and how he continued to fuel hatred, election lies, and conspiracies such as woke and crt bullshit. How his comrades are taking away civil rights, women rights, voting rights, et al.

2. ---and how, in his meeting with Putin, he was accompanied by a translator and nobody else.

Unprecedented, was the fact that he wouldn't allow notes to be taken.

SO...

Who is that translator and where is s/he?

If not, she needed to have been given protective custody long ago.

5. Getting Trump is like trying to catch a slippery fish with your hands.

I go up and down like a rollercoaster on whether they're going to straighten this out.

And it is not just Trump. It is the people who enabled him.

On the upside, I am encouraged by what Garland did.

I'm confident there are a bunch of dedicated Americans who will chase down the damage assessment so they can do what they can to mitigate it.

Trump should be held to account for what he's putting the country through on this.
Millions of Americans have to be concerned with what he did with nuclear secrets or this classified information.
He's already hurt America with worries and the DOJ, FBI and Intelligence scrambling to minimize the damage.

Our allies have to be scrambling as well in a similar mode and to protect those who have been helping them in a clandestine way. Trust with them has to be broken. Why should Trump skate away from that with no consequence?

Though Trump is a very sinister fish ...

Did they NOT expect him to sell off every bit of secrets he ever had in his hands?

Do they really believe that those secrets are still secret? They thought secrets were safe in his hands? Come on. It was sooooo obvious he was giving Putin and the Saudis everything.

Everything about him screams I'll make money off US secrets. Why did they not put systems in place to minimize Trump damage already?

Did they really believe Trump's bluffs? Did they really trust the turd?

8. Yes. It was obvious within week's of Trump's inauguration that he could not be trusted.

Intelligence briefings for him should have includes a minimal amount of information, and most of that out of date. There’s a reason Jared sat in on intelligence briefings and demanded even more.

when he said tRump was amoral, couldn't be trusted and that they should give him fake info at his "briefings". If they gave MF45 true secrets, knowing what a corrupt piece of shit he is, they are almost as much to blame as MF45 is.

I'd like to know who was receiving the actual briefings and info during tRump's occupation of the WH. Since his had to be in picture format, it was possibly pretty worthless anyway, but someone was getting the real thing while MF45 was coloring his.

Maybe with such a massive, multi-agency effort, the infiltration can be rooted out, exposed and dealt with. If the evidence shows that Trump was peddling our security for money, and half the Republican congressional leadership was supporting him, well let the chips fall where they may, and let a few cells be prepared for multi-person occupancy.

Imagine Putin's bewilderment: "They finally found all our plants in their government, and they are still ALIVE??"

Since you follow these events closely (justice hounding Trump & Co), can you do a daily summary post? There are so many posts here on DU about the various developments, and so many on twitter, that I am having a hard time really knowing what is going on and what has (definitively) happened each day. I don't watch any TV, only read.

If you could do that it would be GREATLY appreciated!
