Demings up by 4 points in challenge to Rubio: poll

Not sure how much I trust this poll, but things appear to be moving in our direction.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/demings-4-points-challenge-rubio-160039983.html

Rep. Val Demings (D) leads Sen. Marco Rubio (R) by 4 percentage points in Florida’s Senate race, according to a poll released Tuesday.

The poll, released by the University of North Florida’s Public Opinion Research Lab, shows Demings with the support of 48 percent of surveyed registered voters who said they would vote in the midterms.

Rubio, in comparison, received 44 percent support, while 7 percent said they would choose someone else.

Broken down by party, 89 percent of Republican voters supported Rubio, in addition to 36 percent of voters who either had no party affiliation or whose political affiliation was termed “other.” The poll found that Demings was supported by 94 percent of Democratic voters and 46 percent of voters with no party affiliation.

Florida’s Senate race is considered one of the most competitive this November and has been rated as “lean Republican” by the nonpartisan Cook Political Report.

From what I am reading, she is taking things to the voters about how useless Marco Rubio is. Given the fact he is a Trump sycophant ass-kisser who voted twice NOT to convict TDFG in his two impeachment trials, who still comes to his defense knowing that the evidence against him is STRONG.

Then there is the abortion stance Rubio has taken in that he supports a National Ban on ALL abortions, no exceptions. There is also a large and well organized contingent of LGBTQ in Florida who will oppose any Republican support for the SCOTUS to overturn Obergerfell v. Hodges declaring Marriage Equality a Constitutional right and protected under the 14th Admendment.

Since the FBI raid at Mar-a-Lago, I wonder what Marco Rubio's take is now? Val Demmings knows the Law and how law enforcement works.

and even then, hope like hell they haven't infiltrated the system enough to chest her out of a Senate seat.

The number of registered FL Democrats to Repugs is pretty close (4,955,022 to 5,157,343 ) but we also have a LOT of No Party Affiliation voters here in Florida too - 3,887,406 of them - so I am hoping that after all the misery DeSatan has caused for us down here they will want to vote with us Dems. Fingers crossed.
