Because of what it does to fight climate change, how it maintains ACA subsidies, and myriad other things, so whatever they needed to say in order to pass it is fine with me.

But the idea that it will do anything significant to reduce inflation isn’t reality, IMO.

19. I watched the signing. Biden kept holding the pen out to Manchin but Manchin did not initially

get it that the Biden was handing him the pen. mixed feelings, but Biden had class making this gesture to Manchin.

Whatever we think of Manchin - it's clear that Joe Biden gets him and appreciates him. They've known each other a long time and Biden has a forgiving heart when everyone's best efforts finally come together.
