A rare series that was both a prequel and a sequel. Sneederbunk Aug 2022 #2

For me anyway. It was a perfect ending to the BB/BCS world, where Jimmy and Kim did what WW couldn't do, which was gain some form of redemption.

My wife and I are now going back to watch it from the very beginning, with an eye for various clues, filming, things we may have missed the first time through with the focus on plot.

I'll do the same. For example, I didn't notice the first time that when Gene (in a black and white scene of course) looked at Marion's laptop the Saul Goodman ad she was looking at reflected back in his glasses in color. I read that later and saw it in the episode when I rewatched it. My brother started watching this season without any previous knowledge of the series or BB. I think someone like that is going to miss a lot.

It shows that Kimmel has the guts to show what so many of Al's erstwhile Senate colleagues do not: the courage to indicate (by his action) his feelings that Al was unfairly wronged by those who rushed to urge him to quit the Senate for a ruse cooked up by Roger Stone. Jimmy Kimmel had the courage to do what Senators like Booker, Harris, Sanders and Warren have not yet done--even after five years! Good for Jimmy Kimmel, at least!

To be honest I was apprehensive, given the uneven nature of the final season. I'm really going to miss "Saul."

And that's rare since the ones from even good shows often disappoint. Just great in every regard.
