I disagree with Applegrove about her running against Trump, though. The prinary would turn into all out warfare with his demented supporters vying to see who which of them could be first to assassinate her.

My heartfelt wish is that he NOT run again, at all, including in the primary. Any scenario where he runs would quickly get so ugly it would make his past campaigns look like a bunch of people sitting around a campfire singing Kum By Yah. DO NOT WANT.

9. If several people run against him in the primary

the vote is likely to be very split, and then Trump will probably win, even with a small plurality, given his avid and still ample base.

Then again, aside from the shit show and media circus during the campaign, he’d be the perfect motivator for massive Democratic and Independent turnout in the general.

We live in strange times ... I’m ready to secede from the decade. There are seemingly no good answers to anything.

11. The Republicans still have a large number of "winner take all" primaries,

so that gives him the advantage, especially if there are a number of opposition candidates.

Of course that is how he was nominated in 2016...


If he is able to run, the best we can hope for, I believe, is a very bloody GQP primary campaign, in which he will eventually prevail for the nomination...


On the other hand, I think he is the worst candidate for the GQP to run against the Democrats...

He has NEVER won the popular vote, and everyone knows all about him.
He can't get votes from the "I don't know him, maybe I will take a chance on this guy" voters...
