In a nearly five-minute video, the Grammy-nominated musician shared his experience of paying the bill and tipping the server, only for a manager to allegedly follow him to his car to ask if he took care of our server, as first reported by the San Francisco Chronicle. (SFGATE and the San Francisco Chronicle are both owned by Hearst but operate independently of one another.)
"Ive never been followed out of a restaurant in my life," Butler said in the video. "He showed so much lack of respect for me and all of us that ate at the restaurant. I dont think hell do that to a white person, but he did it to me."

Napa used to be a white only town when I grew up, literally the mayor found a way to keep other races out. But over the years things have changed, still mostly that way but not all and attitudes have changed. There is almost no middle class its either working people lower middle class or money. Most restaurants there whether fancy or not the wait staff are friendly.
But St Helena has totally changed from a quiet sleepy town when I was a kid, kind of boring to a upper class wealthy area with attitude.
I used to decades ago go wine tasting there but not anymore cost to much. Lots of places in Sonoma Valley and north of there just as good for less.
So not surprised this would happen in St Helena.
