Another thing to take into account is that even if they are rich AF, so many Americans dress like utter shit, and the slob effect has spread globally.

I fully admit I am very much a creature who welcomes and engages wholeheartedly with aesthetics, very much Epicurean (although certainly not limited to that one school) in tendencies, so perhaps not the best person to reply on this subject.

Certain types on DU are often not so friendly towards my personal aesthetics, and I fully admit to unfortunately having developed a bit of an edge (understatement) over the manner and mode of reply that too often springs forth.
