(3,167 posts)New Hampshire could be a competitive state, with the right candidate. I don't think that most people in NH would listen to a crazy nut and vote for them as their Senate candidate.

(43,408 posts)had better candidates. Bolduc and Morse are MAGA type extremists.
If Sununu had run he would have had a pretty solid shot at flipping Hassan's seat. We dodged a huge bullet when he said no, and a smaller one when Kelly Ayotte declined as well.

(3,167 posts)I meant that NH could be competitive if the Republicans stopped nominating tree stumps to run.

(7,188 posts)Remarkable turnaround. If Sununu ran against Hassan, he would have beat her. He was even mentioned as possible presidential candidate.
With his words against Bolduc, hell have trouble getting nominated in this state for anything as a Republican. Same fate as Charlie Baker in MA. Sununu is also going to MA trying to pump up less radical candidate for Governor over the true radical.
I dont like Morse either, but hes considered less wacko than Bolduc. The polls have them both in the 30s with Bolduc ahead.
Hassans margin of error in first race for Senator was about 1100 votes - race thin. If Bolduc gets the R nod, that will help her for sure. But it will be close.
