I hear the pundits saying it will be impossible to overcome Gerrymander, the polls say so.

I see rethug pols and sheep already crowing on Social Media about the Dems in disarray re November.

I hear some folks are trembling at the knees saying all is lost in the House, and probably the Senate.

Well, I say, fuck that noise.

All I know is that all I can really do is to help the GOTV efforts in my locality. My feet on the ground, voice on the phone, and (very) small donations sent to the candidates.

And say fuck that noise.

I ain't quitting until the polls open. And damnit, this time, WE DEMS ARE GOING TO PREVAIL.

Roe, 1/6, TFG's criminality and treason, children murdered in their schools, the pure unadulterated stupidity of some elected Rethug pols, majority & bipartisan hatred of fascism (yes, it does exist regardless of what the fearmongers want us all to believe),...and my trust that the vast majority of American's are sane, reasonable people...

and most importantly some VERY motivated, hard working and dedicated Democratic candidates all across the Nation are all reasons for my optimism this cycle.

Often each side is guaranteed about 200 seats and they fight over the remaining 35.
I’d love to see Biden’s approval numbers and the generic ballot numbers for the Dems improve some before November.

IIRC, the generic ballot has been in our favor for months, but not with a huge lead.

I can tell you people are angry about Dobbs. One lady wasn't going to vote for municipal offices until she knew the candidates' standing on abortion.

It's just the way it is. There is very little chance of getting the state assembly or senate Dem. But we could unseat Johnson because they can't gerrymander the federal Senate election.
