Republicans want it to be open season on anyone who gets in their way. First it was the right to run over demonstrators who are blocking the street. This is just a natural progression, because federal agents are serving a Democratic administration. They don't have a platform to sell, at least not one they can commit to openly, because it would tip off their enemies (and boy, do they have a lot of enemies for some reason).

the people with this level of divorce from reality weren't in the system for mental health before they ended up elected officials. I truly am not being snarky.

The state of mental healthcare is so bad in this country that apparently there is no avenue to get these folks help before it gets to this point. Once they manage to get themselves in any political office they are nearly untouchable. I'm talking not about political beliefs - I'm talking about the absolute inability to deal with reality.

Oh yes, a few of them, the more high profile ones, are just full of shit and using the right words to play the grift. But there are folks like this one, that woman in Wyoming to replace Cheney, Hershel Walker, and everyday citizens who are so easily convinced of things with no basis of any kind in any stretch of reality. I just don't understand why someone has not already .. as they say ... tossed the butterfly net over them.
