(102,292 posts)Winkler has been diplomatic about him, but disagrees vehemently on his viewpoints. Ditto, Winkler is friends with Terry Bradshaw, a big R and has appeared with him on various shows but doesn't share his political beliefs.
Winkler is closely aligned with the very Democratic views of Ron Howard and other Hollywood liberals.
Winkler is a truly good guy. Please correct your misperception.

Fun fact: Winkler's middle name is Franklin. He was named for FDR, a man he has expressed great admiration for.

(18,497 posts)I do think he is a fabulous actor. He just typecast himself so terribly.
I just don't think an actor's opinion about a political or news worthy matter is normally relevant.
There are exceptions if they are from a community affected by say a forest fire or flood or if they are known for being involved in an issue.

(26,501 posts)"his opinion isn't relevant". Which is it? I guess it could be both. But you started out with a false premise, which you still didn't correct.
Hopefully the person holding a weapon to you, making you watch this stuff left the room and you can change the channel. What a strange post.
