4. I haven't had alcohol since 1990

But always held out that I would have a couple of supervised beers for a momentous occasion.
I almost had one on the night Obama was elected, but he was a bit conservative for me. Wanted to see which way he went.

Almost again on his inauguration, but thought maybe I better wait.

Biden's election almost tipped me over, but he had such a monumental task ahead and a 50/50 senate etc.

Thought about it last week when the IRA was signed - but this fall could turn the country dark again.

But the day that SOB is locked up I will need some baby sitters.
